Our Story
Experience with Purpose
My journey into international development and humanitarian logistics began in 1991 during the Gulf War, when I served with the Netherlands Ground Forces as a trained operating room (theatre) nurse. Our mission was to provide emergency assistance to Kurdish refugees, helping them return to their homes safely. Witnessing the human impact of conflict—the urgent need for medical care, shelter, and safe passage—sparked my lifelong commitment to ensuring essential health services reach those most in need.
Since then, I’ve spent over 30 years working to strengthen global health supply chains, supporting governments, donors, and NGOs in more than 30 countries. From managing emergency logistics after Cyclone Idai in Mozambique to coordinating national oxygen supply strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic, my focus has always been on practical solutions that save lives and build stronger systems for the future.
