Our Story

Experience with Purpose

My journey into international development and humanitarian logistics began in 1991 during the Gulf War, when I served with the Netherlands Ground Forces as a trained operating room (theatre) nurse. Our mission was to provide emergency assistance to Kurdish refugees, helping them return to their homes safely. Witnessing the human impact of conflict—the urgent need for medical care, shelter, and safe passage—sparked my lifelong commitment to ensuring essential health services reach those most in need.
